How MEA CR & TS came about

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I was just thinking about all the things we purchase at a higher price because we don't have good credit. Believe me when I say I've been there and done that. I remember when I was a young adult I knew nothing about credit or how it would affect my life as I got older. So, in October 2015 I decided enough was enough and it was time to whip my credit into shape. And I also wanted my credit to mimic who I really was as a responsible adult. So, I started researching how to whip my credit into shape. I learned a lot as I attended seminars, went and took some more finance classes and more. Once I started fixing my credit and started to understand the lingo I reevaluated my credit with a fine tooth comb and got to work. I now have a 780 and steady climbing . I was so excited I started helping my family and friends. They seen the difference in their scores as well. I had found my successful niche as some would say. I then wanted to help as many as I could. So, October 2017 I began researching how to open a credit repair business. I ran into a lot of great information and also became Board Certified in Credit and Debt Management. I opened my business to the public December 2017. The name MEA stimulated from the first initials of my 3 children names, because they are definitely my motivation. Mariah, Erin, and Aaron. I am now working with clients in the Texas area and am looking to expand to a city near you.

Charge off’s

Charge Offs Charged off accounts  or accounts that were sent to collections may be reported for up to 7 years plus 180 days from the date of delinquency.  Charge-offs occur when a creditor decides a debt is not collectible and rather than carry it on their books as an overdue or past due debt, they instead eliminate it from their reportable past due accounts.  By charging off the debt, the company gets an improvement in their accounts receivable report. That doesn’t mean the debt has disappeared. In most cases, the debt is sold to a “debt buyer” who pays pennies on the dollar for the face value of the debt.  By purchasing the debt, the debt buyer can now attempt to collect the debt (plus court fees, interest, late charges, etc.) by contacting the debtor and taking them to court for the debt’s value plus fees.
